AREA CHAIRPERSON

Assumes a leadership role within the Area by organizing, setting the agenda, and chairing three Western Washington Area 72 Quarterly business meetings in addition to the Western Washington Area 72 Assembly. Also chairs the meeting for the selection of appointed committee positions. Keeps Alternate Chairperson informed. Receives GSR minutes and corresponds with the Districts regarding their problems and concerns. A further description of duties is outlined in the A.A. Service Manual.¹
